Recent: Cricut Maker X Easter
During the past few weeks I tuned my energy to crafting a miniature paper tableau, for Easter. The tableau was made with a complimentary assortment of cardstock (sourced from Spotlight), both plain and ornamental.Once I had mocked up a very basic concept for the tableau, I set about cutting the cardstock with my first generation Cricut Maker (Did you know that the Cricut Maker 4 just hit the market?). The tableau looks much like theatre set design, with just a touch of video game background. Originally the plan was to create a photo shoot of the tableau with chocolate eggs scattered on 'the stage' floor. The images were created, but then I created a reshoot when I realised that the eggs distracted from the beauty of the tableau itself.
