A Flowery Project

It has been quite a while since I've posted here. My mind is in transition phase and to be honest I am not sure where this particular blog fits, in the grand scheme. Hence the sporadic posting of late.
In the mean time I wanted to share my latest creative output. I have been commissioned to make some handmade cards. Check out the work from that project.

Feel Good

Things around here have been on the careful + slow side. Monocytes are up so I've had to take it easy. No easy feat with two lil girls running around the house and a cat that has a habit of getting stuck between two fence walls. Spotlight on Boolah Baguette

Last week on Etsy I came across the sweet doll work of Erin Weiss. Erin's doll label is Boolah Baguette. I asked her where that name came from, she told me it was the full name she gave to her first doll when she was a little girl. And as luck would have it, Erin still has that doll around.

The thing that got my notice of Boolah Baguette was the amount of detail that went into the doll faces. I rather like the added layers of fabric which give the dolls character.
