A Journey

Yesterday afternoon I took the girls for a walk and I saw some lovely things along the way.
I feel lucky to be living in an old suburban neighbourhood. Some of the main roads in the area were named after families who first owned large portions of land. Eventually the land was further subdivided and made way for housing development. If you walk the streets you can probably identify which houses were owned by those families.
Of course, the vintage homes are not the only admiring points. I also enjoy the tree lined roads, the winding coast, people's gardens, the rainbow lorikeets, dogs and cats relaxing in their own front yards [and the occasional rabbit, or a duck on some rooftop].
