One Finished Cat

Photography by Melissa Gaggiano.
Today I finished sewing this plush cat. As mentioned in the previous post this design came from Pip Lincolne's Meet Me At Mike's: 26 crafty projects and things to make. The lady who designed the pattern for this cat is Jhoanna Monte Aranez.
This lovely cat will go to a little girl for her fourth birthday.

Blue Hair & Mike's Cat

Here is a peek at my current craft projects...
This morning I glued down the hair for the Coraline doll. It all looks straggly and like she needs a haircut. Which is precisely what I'll give the doll once the hair is firmly glued.
Additionally my eldest has been invited to a birthday party for another little girl. So I am making a cat doll for the birthday present. I found this lovely cat doll pattern in Pip Lincolne's Meet Me At Mike's: 26 crafty projects and things to make.

4 Done

This week I began work on a granny square blanket. I have been following a pattern courtesy of Pip Lincolne's book - 26 crafty projects and things to make. I have now made 4 squares. Yay! Hooray!

Meet Me At Mike's

Oh, happy rainy day! I took my bub for a walk to Southland and after looking around gave in to sweet temptation. We bought the craft book “Meet Me At Mike’s: 26 crafty projects and things to make”. It is a gorgeous book and it only cost $45. This is a pretty good deal coz it...

A) is a Melbourne book with crafts by Aussie crafters.
B) comes with a pocket filled with many wonderful patterns.
C) has 26 craft projects from crafters that I admire. Happy me!

This book was written by Pip Lincolne and you can find her blog at Meet Me At Mike's. Also her book is available in most bookstores or can be ordered online.

It Is On My List

The latest thing to be added to my list of wants for 2009 is this book... "Meet Me At Mike's: 26 crafty projects and things to make".

This book will soon be (hopefully) available and I look forward to snapping it up... and so should you. The book is written by Pip Lincolne of Meet Me At Mike's fame and covers projects by other well known and liked crafters. One of the crafting projects in the book will even be by one of my long time favorites - Claire Robertson.
