A few months ago Pip, over at Meet Me At Mike's (if I am remembering correctly) was writing about the lovely fashion label Romance Was Born. Romance Was Born has some really out there designs for an Australian label. They really seem willing to take the plunge and create their own thing, rather than imitate overseas fashion. Their latest range was inspired by good old, homemade design, and the use of crochet work is quite notable.
Fast forward to today. I am touching base with my cousins and low and behold, I discover that one cousin (Teresa) created a hat for the label Romance Was Born, which was photographed in the July Vogue fashion shoot for this very label. It just so happened that I picked up a copy of the magazine yesterday (see pictured).
