Not For A While

I have had to slow things right down. Take a break from my own race to get things done. I am still a bit tired but have wanted to draw something...

I thought I'd share more snaps from yesterday's sunset photoshoot.

Sunset Beach

Earlier this evening I drove to Brighton just before sunset to get in some glorious photos. There were so many people enjoying the beach. There were kite surfers, people eating dinner, fishermen, other photographers plus a wedded couple.

It's a Shell of a Town

Last weekend my family spent a relaxing morning hanging around the beach. Gwen and I walked hand in hand and got our feet wet in the shallow water. We found two starfish that were actually still alive. I also brought back home these three shells. When I was a little girl I used to collect sea shells. I might start a collection again.

The World At Your Feet

I took this photo way back in 2003 (I was 24 years of age). Don't ask me why, but for a time I loved the idea of taking photos of my feet in different settings.

Enter the New Year - 2009

Welcome to the new year - 2009. How on earth we reached the 2000s, I do not know. But here we are.

I am not a new year resolutions type of person, however I do hope for good things to come. I have a baby on the way and I plan to enjoy the experience of becoming a new parent. I also hope to do more with my artwork. And I hope to have many happy moments with my husband and our growing family.
