The world just got a little larger. Lego world that is. The girls are really getting into the Lego. It is pulled out every single day. And the more the Lego comes out, the creations become much more advanced, because really, I cannot help myself and the girls love me making stuff for them. The other day I built a natural landscape for the girls complete with river, grass, trees, sand, and piers. I almost ran out of yellow and blue Lego.

Road Trip
This afternoon Gwen and I decided to get out of the house and the general neighborhood. We drove through the Bayside, sticking to the scenic coastal drive and made a beeline to St Kilda.
We had a lovely walk by the beach and visited a rebuilt kiosk landmark at the end of St Kilda pier. The original kiosk was destroyed in a 2003 fire.
We then headed off again, toward the city and out the other side, making a lovely pit stop at Meet Me At Mike's in Fitzroy. It was Gwen's first time in the shop and she just loved looking at everything and blowing raspberries to Pip and Cam.
I picked up two pieces of lovely at Meet Me At Mike's —
Firstly I chose a crochet Japanese mushroom for Gwen's bedroom. Secondly, I fell for a pink/brown fabric square. I don't know what I'll do with this fabric. I'll think of something special.

Enter the New Year - 2009
Welcome to the new year - 2009. How on earth we reached the 2000s, I do not know. But here we are.
I am not a new year resolutions type of person, however I do hope for good things to come. I have a baby on the way and I plan to enjoy the experience of becoming a new parent. I also hope to do more with my artwork. And I hope to have many happy moments with my husband and our growing family.
