There is a Light in the Dark

In the February 2012 issue of Marie Claire Australia there was an ethereally photographed article covering the issue of depression. The photography is by Alexia Sinclair.
Now, I will admit to being a sucker for lit lanterns and I think these photos are absolute magic. I love how in the darkness there are these little balls of hope and light.

My Scruffy Angel
I title this photo My Scruffy Angel. Don't you think that title just says it all. I love how this photo turned out. It was just one of those magical moments. My daughter was standing in a perfect pocket of Autumn sunlight and my camera settings were just right.

Holey Light
I love the leaf eaten tree that resides down near the entrance of the driveway. Especially how the light filters through the holes, like an intergalactic space party.
