Now initially I was going to try and do my own pattern making, then I thought I would have a look through patterns that I already had to see if I had a similar pattern that I could work with. There wasn't anything on hand of course.
So yesterday I visited Lincraft and found just the right pattern to make my Alice dress. It is a McCall's M5623. So this afternoon I shall begin cutting the pattern pieces. There will still need to be some alteration if I plan to have the frilly trim at the bottom of the Alice dress. But I'll think about it.
